Notez is building a library!!!
This is no ordinary library! Notez is continuously accepting donations of used or
new musical instruments to provide needy children with the access to be able to participate in public school music programs.
Living in a rural area, the need is great. Notez will be offering this service to school districts in Madison County.
Many students are singled out because they are unable to purchase instruments. We are also looking to provide accessories
such as beginners instruction books, music stands, reeds for woodwinds, cleaning accessories, drum sticks, and the like.
At this time we are accepting woodwinds and brass. This includes; flutes, clarinets, saxaphones, piccalos, trumpets,
mellophones, french horns, oboes, bassons, Trombones, and the like.
The Notez Instrument Library is set up to 'loan' those students who would like to
participate in the public school music programs the instruments they need. Students participating in the public school music
programs are elligable. Once a student is no longer interested, or graduates, the instrument is returned to the Notez library
for any repairs and redistribution to the next student in need.
If you are interested in helping us build this amazing Library, please contact Kelly
via the Notez Mailbag or call 740-852-6969.
The amazing thing about putting an instrument into the hands of a child; there are
times when it could mean the difference between that child being all they can be or getting lost in 'the crowd'
for good. You have the power to make this difference!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
The Notez Library was inspired by the folks at VH1's 'Save the Music', see link
