NOTEZ MISSION STATEMENT
The Notez Music & Arts Education Workshop serves as a means of community educational support
by encouraging key Developmental Assets such as; Academic Excellence; Effective Communication Skills; Positive Social Development;
Fine/Gross Motor Development; Problem Solving; Goal Setting; Development of the Creative Process; and the importance of Teamwork
for the purpose of the success of overall growth and development in all children. All workshops are designed to encourage
at least 3 key Developmental Assets.
The Notez Music & Arts Education Workshop operates with the value of the belief that ‘Anything
is possible’. Through understanding of the importance of education, creativity, and our willingness to learn, we
can achieve all good things.
The Notez Music & Arts Education Workshop is committed to community support by promoting
student participation within our public school music and arts programs. This includes student participation in community arts
activities through our local arts council as well.
The Notez Music & Arts Education Workshop operates with the value of ‘Acceptance’.
This means the ability to ‘accept’ others no matter what our differences are, abilities and disabilities. Hate
and discrimination of any kind does not exist within the Notez organization or on this site. We welcome you. That includes
your heritage, your talent, your faith, and your ideas.
The Notez Music & Arts Education Workshop exists only because of the network of wonderful
people who have helped to inspire and create it. This includes, God and our children; our family & friends; our students;
educators; doctors/specialists; musicians; artists; educational institutions; organizations; and foundations. Music and the
Arts are a platform on which nations are united. The Notes Music & Arts Education Workshop is a tribute, to our 10 year
old son Cameron, who is also an Autistic genius.
